{"id":3847,"date":"2023-04-07T17:47:41","date_gmt":"2023-04-07T17:47:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp.as.uky.edu\/genchem\/?p=3847"},"modified":"2023-04-07T18:16:03","modified_gmt":"2023-04-07T18:16:03","slug":"what-if-i-know-in-advance-that-i-will-be-absent","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wp.as.uky.edu\/genchem\/what-if-i-know-in-advance-that-i-will-be-absent\/","title":{"rendered":"What if I know in advance that I will be absent?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you know in advance that you will miss class or an exam, you should submit documentation <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">at least one week\u00a0before<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0the absence.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Student athletes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University trips (field trips, band, etc)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Religious holidays<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student athlete letters and DRC letters should be sent to:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:chemistry@uky.edu\">chemistry@uky.edu<\/a>&nbsp;at least one week before the exam (sooner, if possible).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student athletes or accommodated students must fill out the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.as.uky.edu\/general-chemistry-excused-absences\">form<\/a>\u00a0<strong>each time<\/strong>\u00a0they miss lecture, recitation, exam or lab.
