What if I have an incomplete in a pre-requisite course?

What shows on my transcript if I have an incomplete?
You would receive an “I” in the course on your transcript as a placeholder. Once the work is completed, we will change the “I” to a letter grade. Once the letter grade is assigned, there is no indication on your transcript of the need for an incomplete. It will not affect your GPA.

What is an incomplete form?
An incomplete form is completed by your chemistry instructor which outlines what work needs to be done and includes the deadline for finishing the work (typically one year).

Am I eligible for an incomplete?
To be eligible for an Incomplete in a course, students must be passing the course at the time the Incomplete is requested and/or have a reasonable chance of achieving a passing grade in the course upon completion of the work.
