The University rarely closes due to inclement weather so students should make arrangements to get to campus in case of inclement weather. Absences due to weather will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

1. LexTran runs on a regular schedule through most weather and occasionally on a snow plan but rarely cancels service. Schedules and routes available at https://lextran.com/
2. A link to the route finder using Google Maps is also available. Or go to Google Maps and select the Public Transportation option for assistance.
3. If you are out of town when bad weather is forecast, you should make arrangements to get back to campus/Lexington before the bad weather arrives.
4. Lexington clears highly traveled roads fairly quickly. Plan extra time when driving and/or walking.
