- Some may also say that the lab final is a lot like your lecture exams. This should not be surprising as we cover the same material! 🙂
- Ask questions in advance if you are unsure if something will be on the practical.
Other hints
- There will be questions with
- non 1:1 stoichiometry,
- write balanced reactions
- net ionic equations
- interpret graphical data like you did on your assignments.
- You may be asked about specific things about the procedures or the experiments themselves, however, you will not be tested on the use of the MeasureNet station specifically (the buttons you have to push to accomplish a task is not being tested).
- Study the chapters at the beginning of the manual and on Canvas about safety and correct use of equipment and glassware.
- Make sure you can identify the common equipment/glassware/plasticware used in the lab by the names given in the Appendix of the lab manaul.
- Study each experiment (concepts, data analysis questions, info on Canvas).
- Study the information in the appendices.
- Make sure you can complete each of the objectives listed for the experiments.
